"Off the Wall": Emerging Canadian Art Takes Centre Stage at the B&R

November marked an exciting milestone for Partial as we launched our first ever juried exhibition.

Hosted at the historic Badminton and Racquet Club of Toronto, the exhibition was organized in partnership with the B & R as well as the OCAD U Centre for Emerging Artists and Designers featuring twenty select artists. The final roster of twenty artists were selected by Susan MacDonald (Director of Art Strategy, University Health Network), Sarah Massie (Metivier Gallery), Judy Jarvis (Partners in Art), and the curators at Partial.

Together, we invited emerging artists from the Partial community to exhibit their work. With such an impressive selection of artwork to select from, our jury spent hours reviewing, discussing and celebrating the immense talent of Partial’s current artists. See the selected artists in this special collection.

The collection transformed into a show that felt like a snapshot of where emerging Canadian art is at this moment in time; bold, thoughtful, and full of momentum. From abstract to realism and a range of styles in between, Off the Wall boasted a wide variety of artistic talent.

The artwork on-site ranged from small original works to large pieces made to be showcased in a large space.
